SUMMARY
The Service Area Manager's role is to represent Ducati by developing all Service operations at Ducati dealers in their designated service territory. This involves regular visits to dealerships and preparing reports aimed at improving the quality of service that Ducati customers receive. Providing training and guidance to specific dealers on Ducati guidelines, operating procedures and service practices are all part of the job, including management of warranty issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- First line contact and training for Service Departments at Dealerships, including technical and business operations
- Supports Dealerships through regularly scheduled visits
- Review, analyze and process warranty requests
- Assist Customer Service where requested at the Service level
- Work with our Dealer Network Development team to ensure success and set up of new dealers' service departments
- Provide on-site expertise for promotion of Ducati Service at events such as Race Day Ducati Islands, International Motorcycle Shows and Dealership events
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree and/or equivalent field-based work experience required
- 3+ years experience within Service operations
- Strong computer skills - specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Extensive travel and flexibility required
- Motorcycle enthusiast strongly preferred
