Thanks to Italian rider Valentino Rossi's arrival at Ducati, three of
the new battery-powered bikes sport the champion's very own colour
scheme, sponsors' logos and the legendary number 46 included.
Even the tiniest tots, from two years upwards, can now dream - thanks to
the three-wheeled Ducati Desmosedici Rider and Desmosedici - of
‘racing', safely of course, just like Valentino. Older children can fire
up a Ducati GP reproduced in passionate sporting detail, from the
throttle grip to the engine roar and rubber tread - just like the real
thing.
In addition to these models there's also the Ducati GP limited edition
in Nicky Hayden's colour scheme, a celebration of the American
champion's feats on the Laguna Seca track: with its 24 volt battery it
has been designed for sports-minded kids from the age of 6 years upwards
and can reach speeds of up to 16 kph.
Completing the range is a replica of the Hypermotard, the bike perfect
for leisure and road tours that combines ‘motard' style with sports bike
technology.
With the new Ducati 2011 line, Peg Perego continues to keep kids of
every age dreaming by injecting all the experience, enthusiasm and
vitality that Valentino's arrival has brought to the world championship.
So, whatever your age, here's to hours of happy riding...
