(i) to allow the User registration and authorized access to the reserved area of the Ducati website, to supply the respective services as detailed in the general conditions of the contract, and permit all activities pertaining to the execution of this contract between Ducati and the User and all related activities and obligations, particularly relating to the personalised information service, and to anonymous statistical research. Only for the above-mentioned purposes can your personal data be communicated by Ducati to companies belonging to the Ducati group and/or to companies belonging to the Ducati sales and assistance network (branches, importers, dealers, distributors, garages) and/or to companies that have a contractual relationship with Ducati (such as insurance companies), including companies based outside of the European Union whose subjects will process data only for the above-mentioned purposes; data will be provided to those persons responsible for data processing, as designated by Ducati and by the aforementioned subjects. To activate specific service functions, and for the entire duration of the said services, the site will use i.e. cookies (files sent from the site's server to the User's browser). The User is free to choose whether to be informed of the use of cookies, or limit their use through the specific function available on the Ducati website, or block the use of cookies by modifying the relative options on her/his browser. In this case, some of the website features may not work properly and some of the services may be unavailable;
(ii) to allow Ducati and its sales and assistance network to fulfil market research and customer satisfaction surveys. Providing your data for the purposes of point (i) is voluntary, i.e. it is not required by the law, but it is necessary in order to complete the registration process, and to complete and execute the related contract. Failure to provide the data indicated as “compulsory” in the registration form will mean that you will be unable to complete the registration process and execute the related contract.
Providing your data for the purposes of point (ii) is voluntary, i.e. it is not required by the law: failure to provide the data for these purposes will mean that Ducati and its sales and assistance network will not be able to contact you to fulfil market research and customer satisfaction surveys.
For updating purposes, data provided by the User during the registration process may be checked against other data in Ducati’s lawful possession as provided by the User in other circumstances.
Your rights as a data subject are expressed in Article 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003.
